Baking with Lisa

Full Moons have turned into mini Chefs, helping Chef Lisa to bake some delicious healthy homemade flapjacks! 😋

The children got to choose which ingredients they wanted to add to their flapjacks - Sunflower and Chia seeds, “I like sunflower seeds. Do you know my sunflower at home is growing really big!” 🌻😄

The children took turns in weighing the ingredients out - this helped support the children in understanding different weights and quantities, mixing the ingredients together - supporting using one handed tools and fine motor skills before pouring the mixture into the baking tray 😆

Thank you so much to our wonderful Chef Lisa, for taking time out of cooking our delicious meals, to help conduct and take part in a fantastic baking activity with the children ♥️
